PEI-Genesis is a distributor specializing in the design and assembly of connectors, power supplies, and cable assemblies for harsh environments. PEI can assemble a range of ruggedized and reliable connectors and power supplies for the aerospace market, fully approved on the BACC & EN specifications, compliant with military specifications (mil spec) and also approved on space grade NASA specifications.

PEI-Genesis is now also AS9100C:2009 certified for its corporate headquarters and South Bend, IN production facility. These facilities are now both AS9100C:2009 and ISO9001:2008 certified. PEI was awarded AS9100 certification for full product design and production, with no exclusions.

Our Amphenol, CINCH, TE Connectivity DEUTSCH, ITT Cannon, LEMO, and Anderson Power Products connectors along with Sunbank, Polamco, and Hellermann accessories are designed to integrate functions on an aircraft such as airframe, avionic, and power systems. Across a range of interconnect and power solutions, we offer the ideal mix of technology, safety, reliability and cost.

PEI has a wide portfolio of off-the-shelf power products as well as the ability to offer full custom solutions from brands like Artesyn Embedded Technologies, formerly Emerson Network Power's Embedded Computing & Power business, and Excelsys that are suited for your commercial aerospace needs. Our Artesyn Embedded Technologies line of DC/DC converters are designed specifically to bring DC power for IFE (In-Flight Entertainment) applications.

Our AC/DC product offerings include configurable power supplies such as the Excelsys Xgen series and the Artesyn Embedded Technologies uMP, iMP and iVS series. They can withstand temperatures anywhere from -55C to +70C and can deliver power from 200 watts to 5000 watts.

Our initial approach is to use a pre-qualified, isolated front-end and integrate it with a pre-designed output section providing a complete power solution. The major advantage of this model is that it expedites the prototype process and mitigates the risk of not passing the expensive qualification process on the first attempt.
