News Latest News from PEI-Genesis Rapid growth prompts PEI-Genesis to move to larger premises in Southampton
 In response to continued rapid growth throughout its European operations, franchised assembling distributor PEI-Genesis has announced that it is moving to a 65,000 ft2 building in Eastleigh, which will serve as its new European headquarters and state-of-the-art connector assembly facility. Located adjacent to Southampton Airport, the building is more than three times larger than the company’s existing premises and will provide enough space to accommodate the expansion of the business for many years to come. Commenting on the relocation, David Jones, European General Manager for PEI-Genesis, said: “The new building will allow us to continue the company’s growth by investing in new assembly lines, new automation, a significantly expanded component inventory and additional services - all of which will be aimed at meeting or hopefully exceeding the needs of our customers both now and in the future.” The success of the company’s world-leading connector-assembly service has seen PEI-Genesis sales in Europe rise from £3million to £15million over a 5-year period, which is a remarkable achievement in a market showing only single-digit growth. Most of the company’s personnel will be relocating to the new facility in Eastleigh, and PEI-Genesis expects staffing levels to increase by about 20% within the first 12 months of the move.
