Hermetically Sealed Connectors
Hermetically sealed connectors, which are air and gas-resistant, are suited for applications in the harshest or most extreme environments. These hermetically sealed connectors can be used in severe weather, under extreme pressure, or at high altitudes. Hermetically sealed connectors have military applications, such as unmanned vehicles (UAV), submarines or military electronics, and commercial applications such as satellites, medical devices, oil-patch logging equipment and industrial uses.
PEI’s hermetically sealed connectors are manufactured by industry leaders Amphenol and ITT Cannon, and include the most popular connector series such as D38999, MIL-DTL-5015, MIL-DTL-26482, MIL-DTL-87323, EN2997, d-sub connectors and micro-d connectors.
NOTE: ITT Cannon is not currently certified by the DLA and these products are not covered by the QPL/QML Military Part Numbers: MIL-DTL-38999, MIL-DTL-24308, MIL-DTL-83723, MIL-DTL-83513.
