Since the 1940s when PEI-Genesis was first founded by two best friends, we have grown quickly, expanding in size, portfolio and capabilities, all without losing touch with the family values that make us who we are. While each year was exciting in its own way, here are the biggest milestones that we’ve reached during our growth.
1946 Company founded by Murray Fisher
& his best friend, Bernie Bernbaum
1952 Became franchised ITT Cannon CAPS distributor
1980 Steven Fisher, Murray’s son, was named CEO
1994 Development of first Connector Solutions Guide for ITT Cannon
1994 Began manufacturing Standard K® connectors
1996 Began manufacturing Sure-Seal® connectors
1996 Creation of Field Applications Engineering (FAE) Group for technical customer support
2000 Became franchised Amphenol connector distributor
2000 UK headquarters & assembly facility opened in Basingstoke, UK
2006 PEI Power in Bensalem, PA, USA, began to value-add power supply solutions
2007 New production facility in South Bend, IN, USA, was unveiled
2008 New UK production facility was opened in Southampton, UK
2010 MyPEI online shopping debuted on www.peigenesis.com
2011 Began to value-add Artesyn Embedded Technologies
2012 Began to value-add TE/DEUTSCH connectors
2012 New US headquarters opened in Philadelphia, PA, USA
2015 New production facility opens in Zhuhai, China
