Ethernet connection system for harsh environments
Amphenol RJF EZ series of rectangular ethernet connectors allow for the use of an Ethernet Class D/ CAT5e connection for Ethernet over twisted-pair networks (10 BaseT,100 BaseTX or 1000 BaseT) in industrial and harsh environments. The RJF EZ series are plastic, rectangular connectors with quick lever coupling systems.
These connectors are excellent for harsh conditions – the Amphenol RJF EZ series’ RJStop® connection system (protective composite plug) protects from shock, dust and fluid (IP68 rated). No hazardous on-field cabling and grounding required!

AMPHENOL RJF EZ SERIES CABLE CAT5e
General construction: A four-pair, 24 AWG, 100 Ohm SFTP round patch cable, designed to the ISO / IEC 11801 Category 5e requirements (CAT5e on 76m). The cable contains four twisted pairs, cabled, double-shielded with Kevlar reinforcement strands, jacketed in black UV-resistant polyurethane HFFR. Designed for fixed or portable applications in harsh environments.
HFFR: HALOGEN-FREE FLAME-RETARDANT
Jacket Compound Specification:
Halogen-free flame-retardant polyether-based polyurethane. Glossy finish.
Excellent hydrolysis resistance. High microbial resistance. UV-resistant. High flexibility.
