Multi-pin military connectors available with 48-hour assembly service
PEI-Genesis, the international assembling distributor specialising in interconnection products, will be displaying a wide variety of multi-pin military connectors from leading manufacturers at this year’s DSEi exhibition – all of which are available with PEI’s unrivaled 48-hour assembly service.
A prominent feature of the stand will be Amphenol’s complete line of MIL-DTL-38999 circular connectors, which come in an extensive range of shell sizes, insert arrangements, contact types and plating finishes. As PEI-Genesis holds its stock at piece-part level, it is able to assemble any variant that may be required.
PEI-Genesis is QPL listed by the US Department of Defense for assembling the Amphenol MIL-DTL-38999 connectors both in the USA and at the PEI-Genesis European assembly facility in Southampton, so the connectors can be supplied as either proprietary Amphenol LJT, JT and TV parts or as fully qualified MIL-DTL-38999 Series I, Series II and Series III connectors.
Complementing the MIL-DTL-38999 line will be the PT (Pattern 105) range of military audio connectors manufactured by ITT Interconnect Solutions (Cannon and VEAM), which are widely used in fighting vehicles and ground-based military communications equipment such as the MoD’s Clansman and Bowman radio systems.
These products offer equipment designers a high-quality, miniature bayonet-coupling connection that is particularly suitable for applications where high reliability is a prime requirement.
Also on display will be ITT’s massive range of D-subminiature connectors. Available in a vast array of different types and styles, the ITT D-subminiature range includes filtered versions for applications requiring EMI/RFI protection, corrosion-resistant stainless-steel versions designed to withstand harsh environments, and hermetically sealed MIL-DTL-24308 connectors for use in high-spec military and aerospace systems.
