RF Terminators

RF terminators are passive electronic devices used to terminate radio frequency (RF) transmission lines. They absorb RF energy and dissipate it as heat, effectively terminating the signal path. RF terminators are commonly used in RF and microwave systems for various purposes, including testing and calibration, signal integrity, and protection. RF terminators come in various impedance values to match the characteristic impedance of the transmission line (commonly 50 ohms in RF systems). They can be constructed using resistive materials or specialized components designed to absorb RF energy efficiently across a wide frequency range. PEI-Genesis offers RF terminators from Cinch Trompeter, SV Microwave, and Amphenol RF.
