AMPHENOL BACKSHELL ENVIRONMENTAL EMI/RFI

This Amphenol backshell series allows for both individual and overall shieldings providing cable support, strain relief, and environmental protection, squeezing the grommet onto the cable jacket during assembly that can be terminated in addition to cable sealing by means of a high quality sealing grommet and grommet follower.

This Amphenol backshell is an ideal choice for heavy duty cabling solutions in harsh environment situations where electromagnetic and radio frequency noises are to be isolated, such as Avionic Controls, Instrumentation, Aircraft Power Distribution and Weapon Systems. These Backshells provide 6 feet water sealing protection when used with a perfectly jacketed cable as well.
